The body of a woman hidden in a suitcase was found buried in the area between the Radomir villages of Bernarevo and Nikolovo. From the hair left in the travel bag, it was clear that the victim was Antonia Gervazieva.
This writes “Telegraph”, citing researchers. The outcome of the case, which is like a script from a Stephen King book, came after the killer’s father admitted that he helped his son bury the body.
Antonia, 30, a native of the town of Kopanitsa, was declared wanted in February, although she mysteriously disappeared on January 7. His relatives said he had a friend, Lubomir, with whom he lived as a family.
According to their neighbors, they both used drugs. Suddenly Tony, as everyone called her, seemed to sink to the ground. Lubomir explained that he had returned to his family. He disappeared a few months later.
It turned out that he first went to Italy and then moved to France.
About 10 days ago, Lubomir’s father went to the police. The old man could no longer bear it and told investigators in Radomir where Tony’s body was buried. He led the police to the scene and they were amazed.
The suitcase in which the body was hidden, previously placed in a sack, was actually there. Of Gervazieva, however, only a skeleton and some hair remained. It was enough to prove the identity of the victim.
She was later found strangled. Lubomir’s father also shared what he told him after the murder. “It’s white, dad, help me” were the murderer’s words, after which the two hid the body together.
It is expected that a European arrest warrant will be issued against Lubomir and that he will be brought to Bulgaria.
