Six Bulgarian citizens were arrested in Spain for the gang rape of a 14-year-old girl. The crime was committed in the town of L’Ollleria, Valencia region, reported the newspaper ABC, quoted by worldbg.eu.
The victim filed a complaint with the police for a gang rape committed last weekend, which was probably attended by between 15 and 20 young people. According to the information provided by the Civil Guard, among the detainees there is a minor who has been released and will be summoned to testify at the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office in the presence of a parent or guardian. The rest are between 18 and 25 years old. Further arrests are not ruled out.
It is believed that the victim was intoxicated with alcohol and drugs so he could not resist. Five of the detainees participated in the rape and the minor was only a witness. He will be held responsible for not helping the victim and for not trying to prevent the crime.
