Polish sensation Iga Schwentek is the new Roland Garros champion. The 19-year-old defeated Australian Open winner Sofia Kenin with 6: 4, 6: 1 in one hour and 24 minutes. Thus, the Warsaw tennis player repeated the feat of Justin Henin in 2007, when the Belgian won the trophy without losing a set during the two weeks in Paris. She is also the first competitor from Poland to lift a Grand Slam title.
