During the last 24 hours, 612 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Bulgaria, 96 more than on Friday.
6,048 PCR tests have been carried out in the last 24 hours, announced the unified information portal of the Ministry of Health. This means that the new registered cases represent 10.11% of the total number of examined.
For the fourth day in a row, the country has a negative history of new cases. Thus, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 23,871, and 7,271 of them are active. Currently there are 1,131 hospitalized, 58 of them are in intensive care units.
7 people died in the last 24 hours. Thus, since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 887 people have lost the battle with the coronavirus in our country.
Most of the new cases of the last day in Sofia – 186, in Plovdiv – 56, Blagoevgrad – 54 and Sliven – 35.
The number of infected medical personnel increased by 44, reaching a total of 1,336.
15,713 were cured and in the last 24 hours they have increased by 150.
