The incident took place on Rozhen Blvd in Sofia. According to NOVA, the driver, who does not obey a police order, is 31 years old from Sofia. He has multiple criminal records.
“Employees of the Second Regional Police Directorate are trying to inspect a person who does not obey, tries to thwart the inspection, hits the official car and one of the employees. A colleague fired a shot. The person was transferred to a medical center, as well as to the police, ”explained Interior Minister Hristo Terziiski.
The policemen entered the Academy of Military Medicine with injuries. The hospital clarified that their injuries did not require their hospitalization and they were discharged for home treatment. The offender was placed in an anti-shock room in Pirogov.
