There are nine recently announced cases of COVID-19 in the Smolyan district: a 7-month-old baby, 4 women and 4 men aged 27 to 64 years. This was announced by the press center of the Regional Health Inspectorate – Smolyan.

They are from the municipalities: Zlatograd – 5, Nedelino – 3 and Borino – 1. Two are hospitalized in MHAT – Zlatograd. The rest are less than 14 days of home isolation, most without symptoms. Both cases from the municipality of Nedelino live and work in Sofia.
Third consecutive day with a record of infected in our country
Five of the newly infected are in contact with a confirmed case, most in the family, including the 7-month-old baby. It is clinically healthy, tested together with parents, it also gave a positive result. The whole family has no complaints and is quarantined and monitored at home. An epidemiological study is being carried out to establish contact persons and take anti-epidemic measures.
They are launching combined tests for COVID-19, influenza A and B.
