As of 09.10.2020 on the territory of the Plovdiv region there are 51 newly diagnosed cases of COVID-19. The total number of registered in the National Information System is 2001.
“Since the last 24 hours there have been 8 hospitalized patients, and the condition of all of them is satisfactory. The total number of people treated with K-19 tested is 111. There are three of them in the intensive care unit. The free beds for the treatment of coronavirus are 105 and for intensive care – 27. There are 495 people in quarantine and 419 in quarantine treatment.
According to RHI data, there are 6 newly diagnosed doctors:
– 2 doctors (1 from MHAT “St. Ivan Rilski” Plovdiv and 1 from UMHAT “St. George”)
– 2 nurses (1 from MHAT Karlovo and 1 from UMHAT “Kaspela”)
– 2 nurses (1 from Karlovo Hospital and 1 from Kaspela Hospital)
The RHI reports that the entire 24-person staff has been quarantined at a production company in Plovdiv, after 11 of the workers tested positive for K-19. The other 13 people are in home quarantine as a contact. The owner has been consulted on hygienic, anti-epidemic and quarantine measures related to basic cleaning, disinfection and prevention of the spread of infections.
In the last 24 hours there is a deceased patient, an 84-year-old man from the Kuklen municipality, with concomitant cancer.
