Three cities together in an anti-government rally

More than 30 cars joined an anti-government protest rally last night from Veliko Tarnovo through Lyaskovets to Gorna Oryahovitsa and vice versa, Bulgarian National Radio reported. Traffic on the main Sofia – Varna highway and through Arbanassi was seriously hampered. The police vehicle escorts protesters who are unable to access the incidents.

For the first time, the anti-government protest brought the three cities together in a rally. Car of protesters from Gabrovo also joined. In the center of Gorna Oryahovitsa, more people joined the protesters and a demonstration was held for the resignation and change of government.

“We are tired of anarchy, of eternal deprivation, of this medical care that we cannot afford,” protesters said.

“When this domino collapses, then we will start to make our democratic reforms, because 30 years have been fraud and lies.”


“The demands of the protest are being replaced. We declare that we stand for the future of Bulgaria and the children of Bulgaria and the Bulgarians in Bulgaria.”

“The young people were evicted, they stopped stealing. They sold and buried the state. That has to end. “

On the way back to Veliko Tarnovo, the protesters stopped at a gas station, where they also chanted: “Resign” and “Out with the mafia,” BNR added.
