The residents of Yasna Polyana are shocked by the tragedy, as Christian was one of the most radiant, hard-working and devoted youth in the town. He was born and raised in Brodilovo, where his father is from, but a few years ago he lost his job and moved to Yasna Polyana, his mother’s hometown.
The mayor of Yasna Polyana, Georgi Polihronov, still cannot believe that the young man has died. “Christian worked for me as a construction worker, a very nice boy, very responsive and good-natured. He has two young children and a wife, a wonderful family,” the mayor told our reporter.
Yesterday, Christian was traveling to Ahtopol with a friend, but the accident happened in a sharp turn after the plastics factory, as the jeep entered at an inappropriate speed.
Businessman Stoyan Petkov, 41, was behind the wheel. He is currently being treated at UMHAT-Burgas with a fracture of four ribs on the left side of his chest, without danger of death.
Stoyan also lived in Yasna Polyana and had a small logging company. He owned a truck and several fire trucks. Although he lived in Yasna Polyana, he also owned property in Primorsko and his permanent address was there. Stoyan also has two young children and his brother is a policeman.
Immediately after his tragedy, a blood sample was taken for alcohol and drug use. Pre-trial proceedings have started in the case.
The accident occurred around 9:20 p.m. last night. Due to speeding incompatible with the nature of the road in the conditions of a right turn, the jeep crashed and rolled over on the left side of the road.
