Yesterday, the government approved a proposal from the Ministry of Social Affairs so that all families with children, regardless of the parents’ income, receive child benefits. This will be included in next year’s budget. Thus, families with one child will receive BGN 40, families with two children – BGN 90 and families with three children – BGN 135.
They offer child allowances for all children.
At the moment, all family benefits for children amount to about BGN 572 million. The abolition of the income criterion will cost the state another 398 million. The proposals were made even before the outbreak of the crisis in the crown, explained the Minister of Social Affairs and rejected the doubts that it was a pre-election maneuver.
“Assistance for 1st grade is received by about 44,000 children, and a total of a generation of children is on average about 60,000. Social services explained to me that many parents receive the minimum to receive this assistance,” said the Minister of Social Affairs .
80 are already approved parents to receive 600 BGN assistance. The money is provided by the state to parents who cannot go to work and have to care for their quarantined children.

Regarding pensions, Sacheva said that the limit is currently 1,200 BGN and that next year it will probably transfer 1,400 BGN.
“The proposal is that as of January 1, the minimum pension will become 300 BGN. And as of July 1 have pension indexation. Between 300 and 369 BGN the indexation will be 10%, for pensions of 369 to the ceiling – 5%, ”Sacheva explained.
