The Serbian was about to repeat the “exercise” in the fourth game, when he tied the score at 15-40, but this time Kareno Busta resisted the pressure of the World Cup №1 and narrowed his gap in the set. This turned out to be the beginning of a strong streak for the Spaniard, who gave Djokovic just two points in the next two games and made a breakthrough that allowed him to tie 3-3.

Kareno Busta was even able to take the lead, but in the seventh game Djokovic saved another break point and the balance tipped again in favor of the Serb. In the eighth game, which turned out to be slippers, Djokovic saved three points for a breakthrough from Kareno Busta, after which he missed two chances to increase his lead in the set. During the game, the Joker again showed unusual signs of nervousness and tension, constantly urging the children on the court to pass the balls to him faster. In the end, the Serbian won the tough 8-minute battle and took a 5-3 lead, coming within just one game of the tournament’s semi-finals.

However, Kareno Busta was determined to postpone the Joker’s game as long as possible, playing a very strong ninth game and reducing the score to 5-4. In the tenth game, the Spaniard led 30-15, but Djokovic showed very strong nerves and won the next three points, thus legitimizing his victory and for the second year in a row he placed in the top four at Roland Garros.

There he will face an even more difficult opponent facing world №6 Stefanos Tsitsipas, who today definitely beat Andrei Rublev in three sets.
