All companies affected by the crisis can count on our support, as we have provided them with 450 million BGN of the Unemployment Fund. “Compensation will amount to 60% of insurance income and 60% of insurance contributions owed by the employer for the month of August 2020.
So far, the 60/40 measure is working very well, we have saved more than 300,000 jobs and with its new design we will have helped a total of 500,000 people.
Only with active support for companies will we maintain the low unemployment rates in our country. It is extremely important to us that the Bulgarian citizens are calm, have a job and a livelihood, “said the Prime Minister at today’s online meeting of the Council of Ministers.
