As of October 7, 2020, there are 40 newly diagnosed cases of COVID-19 on the territory of the Plovdiv region. There are a total of 1885 registered in the National Information System.
The doctors newly diagnosed as of today are 9. The total number of cases today and yesterday to 20. The most serious problem is in MHAT “St. Caridad”, where there are already 11 positive samples – 5 doctors, 3 nurses, 2 nurses and 1 rehabilitator, who were identified during the epidemiological study.
The cardiology ward of the hospital is temporarily closed, where yesterday there were also registered doctors. A prescription was issued in order to perform basic cleaning, disinfection and obtaining results of laboratory tests performed to contact personnel and patients. All the people diagnosed so far are in good condition, under home treatment, “said regional governor and president of the OCS, Dani Kanazireva.
The other medical cases of today and yesterday are as follows:
– MBAL “St. Ivan Rilski” – 1 doctor and 1 nurse
– UMBAL “Kaspela” – 2 doctors
– “St. George” University Hospital – 2 nurses
– CSMP – 1 doctor
– 2 dentists – individual offices
Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 123 infected doctors on the territory of the Plovdiv district: 62 doctors: 35 recovered, 25 in home treatment, 2 hospitalized.
34 nurses: 20 recovered, 12 in home treatment, 2 hospitalized. 16 paramedics – 10 recovered, 5 in home treatment, hospitalized – 1.
11 other medical staff: 9 recovered, 1 hospitalized, 1 home treatment
Quarantined: 435 people. There are 335 home treatments and, to date, 15 people have recovered.
74 people died, and in the last 24 hours we have had one death of a 58-year-old man with comorbidities: obesity, diabetes and heart disease.
