Less than a month before the US presidential election in November, incumbent President Donald Trump is trailing Democratic candidate Joe Biden by 16 percentage points, according to a poll conducted by the SSRS agency commissioned by CNN.
Of those surveyed, 57 percent said they would vote for Biden, 41 percent for Trump and 1 percent for another candidate. This is the biggest difference between the two, recorded in the television channel’s polls since the beginning of the campaign, BNR reported.
Nine out of ten voters say they have already decided which candidate to vote for in the elections. Only 8 percent say they can change their mind and 1 percent still have no preference for anyone. That means there are simply not enough voters willing to persuade them to change their minds, CNN said.
