The new cameras are distributed in Sofia, Varna, Burgas, Plovdiv, Ruse and Lovech. They are on a tripod, which means they are portable and will detect intruders from different places each time. In addition, they will be able to shoot for speeding both day and night.

The campaign started today and will last until Sunday.
The cameras have been tested by the police for just over a month, so you can be sure they won’t make mistakes once they’re in use. The difference with the known cameras in our country is that these it will be able to detect the exact speed of each car and incorrect overtaking.
Lachezar Bliznakov from the Traffic Police pointed out that electronic speeding tickets issued are constantly growing, which, according to him, shows poor driver discipline. He stressed that just last Saturday, when it was raining, there was a sharp jump in accidents with deaths and injuries.
Starting next week, a new action by the Traffic Police for speeding will begin.
