An earthquake was recorded in the area of ​​the Bulgarian-Romanian border. This is demonstrated by a report from the FOCUS News Agency on the website of the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography (NIGGG) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).

The earthquake was registered at 5.51 am According to initial information, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.2 on the Richter scale. Its epicenter is in Romanian territory and is located near the Romanian city of Budesci in Calarasi county and the Bulgarian cities of Ruse and Tutrakan.

No earthquake has been felt in Bulgaria since this morning in the Bulgarian-Romanian border area. This was announced for the FOCUS News Agency by the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography (NIGGG) of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS).

The Institute also announced that the earthquake was not from the Vrancea seismic zone and clarified that it was a near-surface earthquake and was felt very locally.
