Lokomotiv Sofia beat Pirin Blagoevgrad 3: 1 in the derby on the ninth day of the Second League. Ilian Stefanov-Nani (16, 33), who is in excellent shape since the start of the season, scored two goals, and Pedro Ferrari (56) also scored. The honorary goal for the guests was scored by Connor Henderson (89). Almost the entire second half the guests played with 10 people after Alexander Dyulgerov was sent off in the 52nd minute.

The guests started more actively and logically the tension in the first minutes was in front of the goalkeeper Ivaylo Vassilev. However, there was no serious danger mainly due to the organized play of the hosts in defense.
In the 8th minute, the ‘rojinegros’ demanded a penalty for the fall of Mario Petkov, who was stopped by Krassimir Stanoev after a cross from a corner kick, but referee Georgi Davidov ruled that the single combat was within the rules. Two minutes later, Spas Georgiev simulated Miki Orachev on the right and fired, but the ball went wide.
The hosts took the lead in the 16th minute, when Svetoslav Dikov from the right wing put the ball into Ilian Stefanov’s head and Ilian Stefanov made no mistake for 1: 0.
One minute after the goal, Blagoevgrad’s guests had penalty claims, after Preslav Yordanov kicked in the area, but this time the judge was silent.

The logical thing happened after just 4 minutes. First Dikov hit the crossbar, the ball returned to the field and seconds later Pedro Ferrari with a famous left-foot shot from the edge of the area made it 3: 0.
The hosts could have scored a fourth goal in the 72nd minute, when Ilian Stefanov cut through the opponent’s defense with a pass to Dikov. The Lokomotiv Sf forward shot into the far corner, but goalkeeper Petrov managed to kill with his foot.
A minute before the end, Pirin scored a goal of honor. It was marked by Conor Henderson with a very beautiful shot from distance, in which the ball described a strange parable and passed to goalkeeper Vassilev.
