Tsarsko Selo’s team achieved a dramatic victory over the Black Sea in the first match of the eighth day of the efbet league. The “Kings” prevailed with 1: 0, and the goal of the success was the work of Miroslav Budinov from a penalty in the continuation of the match. Guest goalkeeper Ivan Dyulgerov made a blunder in the closing seconds, who committed the offense for the penalty.

The match started with light pressure at home, leading to two consecutive corner kicks in one minute against Ivan Dyulgerov. Nothing interesting happened in both focused on the Black Sea penalty area.
In the 12th minute, the hosts created their own mess, failing to take the ball and themselves “gave” a corner to the guests. After the cross into the penalty area, Danny Kiki seized the edge of the area and shot with his left foot, but too weak in the hands of Johnny Placid.
A little later, again the defense of the hosts acted with hesitation. After a series of errors, the ball hit openly Ilian Iliev, who tried a shot, but his shot also missed and did not obstruct the guard of the “kings”. In the 20th minute, the Black Sea came very close to opening the scoring. Ilian Iliev found Marias Courier down the left, who tried to gracefully pass the keeper to the hosts, but the ball went inches from the goal.
In one of the following attacks by the “sailors”, the guests had claims of penalties, which, however, were disrespected by referee Nikola Popov. Danny Kiki entered the penalty area, where he was greeted by Ivan Bandalovski. Tsarsko Selo’s defender played the ball first, but then seriously collided with the Black Sea attacker.
A minute before half-time, Tsarsko Selo fired his first accurate shot of the game, which came from captain Reyan Daskalov. He fired hard from almost 20 meters, but Ivan Dyulgerov managed to deflect.
The second half also started quite slowly. Both teams continued to lead the game mainly in midfield without taking unnecessary risks.
Little by little, the hosts increased their pace and began to attack more insistently. He forced goalkeeper Ivan Dyulgerov to make several saves, and Matthias Courier missed, being left alone against Johnny Placid.
The result of the match came in the continuation of the match, when the hosts reached a penalty after a blunder by the visiting goalkeeper. The ball was centered in the penalty area, where Dyulgerov caught for a moment, but then dropped the leather ball. Yannis Gerolemou started to play with him and was fouled by the goalkeeper.
Behind the ball was reserve Miroslav Budinov, who was unfazed and gave the victory to his team.
This is the first success of Lyuboslav Penev’s alumni in the last five games.
With his victory Tsarsko Selo climbed to fourth place in the standings. The “Kings” collected an asset of 12 points, while the Black Sea remains in the unenviable eleventh place of the table.
