This is what Spasov said after the match at the national stadium “Vasil Levski”:
Such a result shows that we have lost in almost every component of football. After the first goal on the field there was only one team left. A deserved victory for CSKA. With such a result, everything you say will sound like an excuse.
To be honest, I did not expect such a metamorphosis in our parties on foreign soil. Now we are completely demobilized.
There are many teams with problems, not just us. But losing in such an inglorious way … Other qualities of the players should come to the fore. I have said before that I have no depth in composition. We played this game 2 weeks ago against the Montana team.
It is necessary to search for new players, but at this stage this is impossible. Most likely there will be a transfer from Slavi Shopov, so we have one less left.
Now I have to endure the humiliation. I don’t remember as a coach and as a footballer losing by so much difference.
Everything is relative in our football. It won’t be serious now if I start thinking about my resignation again. I can’t complain about the boys at home games. But we are handcuffed and we completely trust the motivation of the players, but on the road it doesn’t work.
My wish is not to see the team this way. What else can I say on the subject?
Who should we have support from? We only have the support of the fans. And from two people I have named before. The ambiguity continues to float in full force, but this is no excuse for losing 5-0. Other teams were also late in payments, but found the strength to mobilize on the field.
