CSKA 1948 literally came through the rain in visiting capital Botev Plovdiv, winning with an impressive 5-0 in Friday’s second match of the efbet league. Martin Kamburov scored a hat-trick in the match, and Galin Ivanov and Georgi Rusev added a goal each, and the success could have been even more expressive after a great game from Krassimir Balakov’s boys.

After an even start to the game, the first position was still in the hands of Krassimir Balakov’s players. After a gradual attack, the ball was not killed very convincingly to reach the feet of Alexander Alexandrov, whose shot from distance went just over the door of Georgi Argilashki.
Only three minutes later, the “canaries” responded. After a cross from a direct free kick by Todor Nedelev, Michel Espinosa got up and made it very difficult for Daniel Naumov, who, however, did not flinch to take a corner.
In minute 31, the guests again created chaos in front of the “canaries”. After a series of corner kicks in front of Daniel Naumov’s door, Michel Espinosa tried to outmaneuver the guard with acrobatic rear scissors, but his performance did not pose any difficulties for the 1948 CSKA guard.
In the 36th minute, the first blow of the match was inflicted by Krassimir Balakov’s team. After another dangerous attack down the left wing, the ball was exposed on the rear beam by Denislav Alexandrov. His shot was blocked by a hand from Michel Espinosa, and the match’s main referee did not hesitate to signal the 11-meter penalty. Behind the ball was Martin Kamburov, who made no mistake for the 1: 0.
In the first and only minute of injury time, the hosts struck a second blow. Martin Kamburov received a great pass through the air, masterfully dominated in Botev PD’s penalty area and continued the ball to Galin Ivanov at the far post, who willingly shot Argilashki 2: 0.
In the first minute of the second half, CSKA 1948’s advance could become a classic. Martin Kamburov received the ball in the center of the field and with an elegant pass he found Galin Ivanov behind the back of the Botev defense, but only against Argilashki did the Bulgarian national not notice.
In the 50th minute, the intrigue was finally snatched in the match. Georgi Rusev fought for the ball with Stanislav Rabotov, after which the wing entered and found the lower left corner of the “Canarias” gate for 3-0.
Just two minutes later, the score could be 4: 0. After shuffling the sideline, Denislav Alexandrov came out alone against Argilashki, but failed to beat him 1 to 1.
In the 63rd minute, the score increased to 4: 0. Denislav Alexandrov was once again at the center of everything interesting, after overtaking Mite Tsikarski and passing his colleague Alexander Alexandrov, who in turn found the head of Martin Kamburov in the back post and the veteran did not make an error 4: 0.
Only 6 minutes later the defeat was complete. Following an individual assessment by Georgi Rusev, he found Martin Kamburov on the edge of the penalty area and with a shot from a distance he first aimed at the top post, then the ball bounced off Georgi Argilashki’s back and hit the Botev PD net for fifth time.
Five minutes later, Botev PD still had a chance for an honorable goal. First Todor Nedelev turned out to be face to face with Daniel Naumov, but the guard saved with skill, after which Atanas Iliev was refuted by the Bulgarian goalkeeper, who took a corner.
At the end of the match the pace calmed down and no new goals were scored. Thus, the boys of Krassimir Balakov recorded a second consecutive resounding victory, which shot them to 4th place in the championship with 12 points in 8 games. Botev PD, on the other hand, remains in an unenviable twelfth place with just 8 points.
