French cupcakes with possible presence of metal parts are recalled by the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency. This is the Butter Sterne mit Rosinenc product with the Biscuiterie Charlotte brand and batch L 185G5.

He is originally from France and is better until December 6 this year, the ministry announced on Friday.

The notification of the potentially dangerous product reached the BFSA on Friday through the Rapid Alert System (RASFF)

An inspection by the BFSA found that the trader offering the product in Bulgaria received 12 packages of this lot, of which it found 3 in stock and immediately stopped selling.

The agency urged consumers who purchased the product not to consume it and, if possible, to return it to the merchant from whom they purchased it. However, the department does not indicate the merchants who sold the dangerous product in our country.

Meanwhile, it became clear that after a referral from the Supreme Administrative Prosecutor’s Office, the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency carried out ice cream inspections throughout the country’s business network. As a result, the agency will recall 1.6 tons of potentially dangerous ice cream.

The reason is that 67 pieces were taken during the inspections. samples of finished product from refrigerator companies. The samples were analyzed for microbiological criteria for food according to safety indicators (Salmonella) and for hygiene of the technological process (Enterobacterium).

So far, 27 pcs laboratory test results have been obtained. samples in 10 of which non-compliance with the Enterobacteriosis indicator related to hygiene criteria was found.

“Due to the established discrepancy, 8 recipes were delivered to improve hygiene in the premises and the equipment and 1671.77 kg of ice cream from non-compliant batches were prohibited.”, the statement from the Prosecutor’s Office reads.

During the inspections it turned out that an Order was issued to suspend all RFSD Targovishte activity at one site due to the poor technical and hygienic conditions of the equipment and the lack of records under the technological documentation.
