Juventus and Barcelona will be one of the great clashes in the group stage of this year’s Champions League. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will once again be the center of attention.
This year there is no group that can be defined as “group of death”, but there are some very serious rivalries. Group A includes Bayern Munich and Atlético de Madrid. In group B are Real Madrid and Inter, as well as German Borussia Monchengladbach. The winner of the Europa League trophy is in Group E along with Chelsea and Rennes.
Group H brought together the teams of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, RB Leipzig and the Turkish champion Istanbul Basaksehir.
The first matches of the Champions League group stage start on October 20 and 21.

Women’s Defender of the Year is Wendy Renard (Olympique Lyonnais).
The Men’s Defender of the Year is Joshua Kimih (Bayern Munich).
The best midfielder in the Women’s Champions League is Jennifer Maroshan (Olympique Lyonnais).
The best male midfielder in the Champions League is Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City).
The best female striker is Pernil Harder (Wolfsburg / Chelsea).
The best forward is Robert Lewandowski (Bayern).
The best coach of the women’s Champions League is Jean-Luc Vasor (Olympique Lyonnais)
Hansi Flick (Bayern Munich) is the coach of the year in the Champions League.
