Rumen Georgiev Radev is a Bulgarian military reserve major general. Former commander of at the entrance to the Plovdiv Fair, where the 14th “Hemus 2020” defense equipment exhibition opens. It is an honor and a pleasure for me to inaugurate the largest exhibition in the defense industry, which this year turns 25, the head of state said in his speech.
He welcomed all the guests and participants and especially congratulated the organizers, who according to him in this crisis situation with COVID-19 worked with great energy and dedication to make today’s event possible.
All efforts aimed at developing and strengthening the competitiveness of the Bulgarian military industry and establishing its authority and reputation deserve support, the president added in his speech.
Hemus 2020 is attended by 90 companies from Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.
