The massive fighting between rival Komatevo factions once again showed the ugly side of the ultrapassions in Sector “B”. And no matter the philosophy professed by “Ultras Levski” or “Sofia-West”, the initiators of the horrible scenes must have a feeling of guilt and shame.
However, such a palette of human sentiments is hardly in the ranks of these “fanatics.”
And only the football club suffers from this, which, in addition to a serious fine, will also suffer image damage. At a time when “Gerena” must have a union in each paragraph, the separation in the structures of the fans drives the club back strongly.
Confessing many personal interests, “Sofia-West” and “Ultras Levski” are fighting the war for themselves, but not for the prosperity of their favorite club. The confrontation has been going on for many years and there is no way we can take the position of who is right. However, the loser is clear: PFC Levski.
Imagine the reaction of the normal fans who were in the Komatevo cage yesterday. So how can you go visit the Levski, when every potential “blues” visit can end with such embarrassing events?
The sad thing is that the war in Sector B is unlikely to end anytime soon. My lack of optimism is due to several factors. For a long time, ultra culture, not only in Levski, but in Bulgaria as a whole, has changed its philosophy. The values are left in the background. At the forefront is the battle for influence and profit. Pleasing the strong of the day or trying to lead events.
So, in this line of thinking, don’t expect reconciliation or an apology from the factions. From now on, there will be countless statements and appearances in the media in which there will be mutual accusations about what happened. The blame will always be in the enemy camp or easier on Nasko, Titi, Pavel Kolev …
In the difficult times of the pandemic, ordinary Levski fans, who defend only the philosophy of the club, demonstrated what true love is, raising millions for the current survival of the club. However, events like yesterday destabilize all timid attempts to revive the greatness of the capital. Not to mention the pushback from potential advertisers and backers who would hardly want their name to be associated with fan outrage and constant trouble.

A Sector “B” is a chimera. Hopefully, in time, the grandmaster will cleanse himself of those “Levski players” who have been poisoning Gerena’s atmosphere for too long.
