GERB is not selfish and therefore does not resign. The draft constitution is just an invitation to speak. The government will not leave the country in the most difficult months to come. Anyone who protests against evil Boyko shouldn’t ride the subway.
Such conclusions were made by the Speaker of Parliament Tsveta Karayancheva who did not meet with the active party in Lom. She gave a speech to the local GERB structure, full of criticism from those who demanded the resignation of the cabinet. She explained that the government is not afraid of resignation, but will not present it because they are responsible.
Way, yes!
“Some ride in pretty cars on Borisov roads and shout: But they won’t get up. Why didn’t you make them when they didn’t work? Why didn’t you do them and now you criticize? The subway! They go, protest the bad Boyko, get on the subway and go home. Walk, I know! This is the situation. That is why we will not resign. Because we are responsible for what we do“Karayancheva said passionately.
Before explaining the roads and the subway, he told the prime minister that the party was ready for elections. He was safe because he had observations of the work of the structures on the ground. But the choice was the “selfish option.”
Many difficult months are ahead and during this time an interim government cannot cope. There will be no parliament to vote on a budget update, for example.
Invitation to speak
The draft of a new GERB constitution, in the first version of which there were even spelling errors, was nothing more than an “invitation to speak”. Thus, Karayancheva proposed the basic law. It was written because the protesters insisted on it.
“You see, we want to stay in power at all costs. People, we have resigned twice. And the Bulgarian citizens have returned us to power, which shows that we still have something to do … We are not afraid for our skin, we are not afraid for our positions.“Karayancheva said.
There is a lot of fake news
Like Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, Karachncheva insisted that the party’s activities be constantly shown to local activists. She stressed that there was a lot of fake news and people were confused. And she told how she herself was often a victim of them:
“Imagine, the other day the news came out on Facebook that I said that because people were washing their hands a lot because of Kovid, the levels of the prey went down. And a journalist from a media outlet called me to ask for a comment. People get confused. Because, unlike us who deal with politics, they see the title and do not know whether to believe, but they are already misinformed. Because this is yellow news, this is fake news. It is very important for us, as GERB representatives, to talk about what is happening“.
