Three people were arrested, drugs – spike and heroin – were seized during a specialized operation on September 23 and 24, police said.
The action was carried out in the territory of Sliven and Nova Zagora. Late Wednesday night, police officers from the Crime Prevention Sector of the Sliven Regional Directorate of the Interior Ministry entered an address in the Dame Gruev neighborhood of Sliven.
Two 36-year-old men from Sliven were found in the apartment. Police officers captured a criminally exposed and convicted man and another, without criminal offenses, at the time of drug production.
Following a search of the house inhabited by a man, many precursors, substances and objects necessary for the production of synthetic drugs were found and seized.
Sachets containing about 250 grams of crystalline substance (peak) were seized. Both were detained for 24 hours.
Pre-trial proceedings were initiated in the case under the supervision of the Sliven District Prosecutor’s Office. Police officers from the Shesti district in Nova Zagora have arrested a 31-year-old man from Stara Zagora for possession of heroin.
The inspection was carried out on September 24 during the specialized operation. During the search, ten bags of heroin were found and seized.
He was detained for 24 hours. Pre-trial proceedings have started in the case. Operations continue to counteract the production and distribution of narcotic drugs in the territory of the DO of the Ministry of the Interior – Sliven.
