Workers at a utility company in Mexico City were shocked when they pulled a giant rat out of the trash.
Due to heavy rains, the sewage system of the Mexican capital was clogged, causing 22 tons of miscellaneous garbage to surface. Along with all the trash, a huge rodent the size of an average car came to light.

However, shocked workers eventually found out that it was a Halloween costume that, along with other costumes, was found in a tunnel in the city’s sewer network.
The giant rat suit had been there for unknown reasons for years, until torrential rains brought it to the surface.
