One of the participants in the public procurement prepared an impressive project for the Lokomotiv stadium. The deadline for participation in the construction of Lauta expired at midnight, and all participants have already submitted their bids.

One of the conceptual designs was drawn up by famous Sofia architect Radomir Serafimov, manager of Atelier Serafimov Architects. The concept of the stadium is close to the classic English facilities with a modern facade. The bidder will propose this project for the Lauta implementation, and the Plovdiv Municipality commission will evaluate the company’s proposal.
The order for the Lokomotiv stadium is for BGN 12 million with VAT and, after selection of a contractor, the installation is to be completed within 24 months.
The contract includes the design and construction of the Lokomotiv Stadium, which will comply with UEFA’s requirements for the categorization of stadiums for matches in European “Third Category” club tournaments. The sports facility must have a total capacity of around 14,000 seats, and the project must foresee the possibility of phased implementation of each grandstand, in accordance with the conceptual concept designed and approved.
