Yakoruda police search for a 2-year-old boy in Bulgaria

70 policemen are looking for the two and a half year old boy from Yakoruda who disappeared yesterday at 5 pm.

The boy was with his grandfather, who was sitting at a crossroads 50 meters from his grandson’s house. The boy said he was returning home to his mother and literally evaporated.

OD MIA director Doychin Doichinov is on the site, who said all versions are in the works. The directions of the homeland are controlled even in Velingrad.

The father was working, the family has a total of four children, who live in a house next to the forest above the city.

At 10 o’clock a search of the surrounding houses, barns, parked cars began. Police, firefighters, gendarmerie and sniffer dogs participate in the action. Lifeguards are also expected. The Razlog District Attorney is also present.

“It happened in 5 minutes,” Mehmed’s grandfather told NOVA. You think your grandson has been kidnapped, but you have no idea who did it.

“We’ve been looking for him all night, in the forest, on the streets, on the river, he’s gone.”

Mehmed Yurkin, aged 2 years and 7 months, is wanted in the city of Yakoruda. The boy is about 80 cm tall, with blonde hair and brown eyes. He wears a long-sleeved blue vest and pink pants. He wears slippers. He was last seen around 16:00 on 09/23/2020 in the courtyard of his house in the city of Yakoruda. This was announced by ODMVR – Blagoevgrad.

After the signal was given, around 18:00 on telephone 112, police officers, employees of RSPBZN-Razlog, Mountain Rescue Service and employees of the municipality undertook immediate search activities. The search for the boy continues.
