Tensions between protesters and the police erupted on night 76 of civil unrest in Sofia.

One of the organizers of the protest, Tihomir Vassilev, tried to engage in a dialogue with law enforcement officials and said that the police were violating the law and the rights of the protesters, as only Mayor Yordanka Fandakova could end the demonstration .
Arman Babikyan of the “Poison Trio” told bTV that the objective of the protesters on Independence Day was to walk and pay tribute to the royal parliament building with the motto “Unity is strength”, as the new habitat of the deputies in the minds of his people. It is still the old Party House.
The protesters asked the leaders of the Interior Ministry to explain why they were denied the right to move in the area of the National Assembly and St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
