The late Dr. Merian Radeva
According to the Burgas police, the accident with the motorcycle was due to inadequate speed
Merian Radeva, a 26-year-old doctor from the Emergency Medical Center in Varna, who died in a brutal accident near the Burgas village of Mladezhko on Saturday, called for attention to the road, reasonable driving and speeding. Unfortunately, the higher speeds seem to have ruined Marian.
The signal for the incident, which took place near the Mladezhko junction, occurred around 4:10 p.m. On a tight turn, Dr. Radeva lost control of the powerful Honda track motorcycle he was riding on, served and struck the handrail. The young woman died on the spot.
Inadequate speed when descending and entering a right turn is the reason for the accident, said the spokeswoman for the OD of the Interior Ministry in Burgas Tsvetelina Randeva. The woman flew onto the road from the impact. The body was found without a safety helmet, which was later found at a considerable distance.
On the Burgas – Malko Tarnovo section in the Mladezhko area there are often accidents involving motorcycles, because the road is not very busy and drivers are tempted to drive at a very high speed, police said.
Dr. Radeva is originally from Isperih. In 2019 he graduated from Varna Medical University with a Bachelor of General Medicine, after which he started working in the City Ambulance. In her Facebook account, the young woman herself wrote that she has had a category A book for only 4 months.
Marian traveled to Sofia to join the march for tolerance on the road and in memory of those killed in accidents, which took place on Saturday night.
Her friends describe her as very smiling and dedicated to her work. She was also the mascot of the Varna rockers.
“We can’t believe I’m sleeping in peace,” they wrote on the Facebook wall.
Dr. Radeva’s colleagues at the emergency center also regret that the Sun, as Marian was called, is gone.
“So radiant, so young, a great tragedy”, commented the rockers from Varna to “24 Chasa”.
In addition to motorcycles, he liked fitness, rescuing stray animals, and dancing bachata. In recent years, she has attended most rock festivals. According to the Varna motorcyclists, in no case did he drive recklessly.
Her colleagues from the Medical University, the doctors from the Varna ambulance and the rockers from the Varna motorcycle clubs sent her for the last time to the Isperih cemetery on Tuesday.
