Both teams played a good game, in which there were many situations in front of both gates, but the last blow betrayed both teams. In general, the champions were more active, but the locals sat firmly in defense and did not allow to reach a 100% goal situation.

The guests from the capital began the meeting more actively and tried to pressure.
The first shot in one of the two gates came in the 14th minute, when Tony Kroos combined well with Karim Benzema in front of the penalty area, and the Frenchman shot hard but right in the center of the goal, where the ball was caught by the goalkeeper Alex Remiro.

The second part started with a great new situation for the hosts. They made a good attack, in which the ball reached Barenacheya from the left, who from the air directed to the diagonal, but the ball flew inches from the crossbar.
In the 53rd minute Tony Kroos brought in Benzema, whose shot was blocked by Aritz Elustondo.
Four minutes later, the Basques organized another high-speed attack, in which Mikel Ojarsabal took control, but his shot from the edge of the area was inaccurate.
In the 62nd minute Benzema fired from the goal, the ball insidiously hitting the ground and goalkeeper Remiro hit hard.

In the 78th minute Vinicius advanced well from the left and passed into the penalty area for subsidiary Marvin, who tried to free room for a shot, but leaned on his own feints and his ball was killed.
Two minutes before the end of regulation time, the Society’s players developed a good attack, and the ball reached David Silva, who fired, but was blocked by Rafael Varane.
