Arsenal struck the “hammers” cunningly

Arsenal lied to West Ham in the end and beat them 2-1 in a second round match of the English Premier League, played at the Emirates Stadium.

The first interesting situation came in the fifth minute, in which Rice fired for Ogbon and Ogbon fired his head, but straight into Leno’s hands. A quarter of an hour after kick-off, Bowen claimed a penalty after a back blow from Gabriel, but referee Michael Oliver signaled for play to continue.

The Gunners weren’t impressed at all, but found the result in their first dangerous action in the 25th minute. This week’s resignation, Pierre-Emerick Obameyang, slipped behind the back of the defense and crossed smoothly from the scheme for Alexander Lacazette, who scored with his head around the edge of the small penalty.

The Hammers didn’t play badly at all and sometimes even outplayed their opponent. This led to the well-deserved equalization seconds before the break, when Mikhail Antonio intercepted a strong cross to the right of Ryan Fredericks.

Shortly after the break, Antonio was able to repeat the exercise, but after a cross from the left. This time he failed to intercept in the best way and this gave Leno the opportunity to take a good position and save.

Midway through the second half, Antonio came very close to bringing West Ham to the lead, but the ball bounced off the crossbar after his header!

A new stage followed, in which nothing significant happened, and Arsenal did not look any better, as a cover and venue for the match.

In the 86th minute, however, Arsenal surprisingly took the lead. Bucaio Saka sent for Dani Sebayos, who found Eduard Nketia free and the player who appeared as a substitute opened his goal count after scoring the empty goal.

Thus, Arsenal picked up an asset of 6 points and tied with Everton and Crystal Palace for the top, while West Ham is in the relegation zone with 0 points.

Arsenal – West Ham 2: 1

1: 0 Alexander Lacazette – 25 ‘
eleven Mihail Antonio – 45 ‘
twenty-one Eduard Nketia – 86 ‘
