Gareth Bale officially became a Tottenham player again after his transfer to Spurs from Real Madrid was completed and confirmed.
The Welshman will play as a signing for the Spurs campaign and will be part of the Premier League again, 7 years after moving to the Santiago Bernabéu.
“We are pleased to announce that Gareth Bale returns to Tottenham as a signing for the Real Madrid season. He will play with №9,” reads the official statement on the Londoners’ website.
The 31-year-old footballer passed the medical tests in Madrid on Thursday, arrived in London yesterday and his death has finally been confirmed today. He lost his place with the Kings and logically broke up.
Real will pay part of the player’s salary, but with the remaining salary and the transfer fee, Tottenham will deliver about 20 million pounds. Bale scored 55 goals in 203 appearances for the north London club before leaving for Madrid in 2013.
At the same time, Tottenham attracted the final defender of Spanish champion Sergio Regilon, who signed a 5-year contract. The amount of the transfer is 30 million euros with the option to increase by another 5 million.
