Two people have died and two are missing since the hurricane in Greece. The Fire Service has received more than 600 requests for assistance due to the disaster. The natural disaster hit the southern part of the country at 80 km / h, caused huge waves, downed trees, flooded houses and cut off the electricity supply. That is why our Foreign Ministry warned us not to travel to Greece.

The first victim was a woman from the village of Vasile, Larissa region, trapped in her home. The other two people are sought. There is information that a woman got into the water disaster with her car, the other missing is a 64-year-old peasant woman.

The rare phenomenon has affected the western islands of Cafalonia, Zakynthos and Ithaca. Almost the entire territory of the Peloponnese is also affected. Citizens report flooded roads, streets and houses. There are fallen trees, roofs removed, and many damaged cars.

Today, the cyclone will invade the Attica and Evia region. There is a warning from both the Greek authorities and the Bulgarian embassy not to leave, except as a matter of urgency. They also warned windows and doors to close tightly. The most pessimistic predictions about the strength of the element did not come true. However, Hurricane Janos was the most significant event in the region this season.
