Luis Suárez flew to Turin immediately after the end of Barcelona’s training session on Thursday to try out to become an Italian citizen before moving to Juventus.
The bianconeri have filled their quota of foreign players, so Suárez has to pass an exam to obtain an Italian passport and not fill out numbers for foreigners.
The Uruguayan forward is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Italian champion for the past nine seasons, under which he will receive ten million a year.
Suárez’s contract with Barça expires next summer, so the forward and the Catalans are arguing. The Uruguayan wants Barça to pay him the rest of his salaries, which amount to 14 million euros, and let him go as a free agent, something that the legends Andrés Iniesta and Xavi were allowed.

Barcelona agreed to separate from Suárez in advance, but will not pay his salaries. The same scenario happened to Arturo Vidal, who yielded to Inter without money, but both sides agreed to do so without compensation.
