The perpetrators were found to have entered through a rear entrance, smashing a window and severing the metal grill protecting the window. A little earlier in the evening, an attempt was made to rob the deputy police chief’s apartment in Sandanski. Whether there is a connection between the two crimes has yet to be established, but police are working on the case.
In the bank area, people felt yesterday that something was wrong. In the streets they saw strangers who aroused their suspicions.
“I heard them talk about being more careful. I saw that the man was not from the neighborhood. In the afternoon, this person, I thought he was the same, was taking photos here, looking around,” explained a man.
Late at night, unknown individuals cut through the metal grill, smashed the window and sprayed security cameras. Then they left with 6,000 box office levies.
In Sandanski, people claim that the robbery could not have taken place without the involvement of an informant. First, because the key to the safe was left, second, because the robbery signal was late.
“There are local participants here. Last night the light was on all night, why? That is what I suspect,” said another.
The robbery of the deputy chief of police’s apartment in Sandanski happened last night around 11pm. Today, the police presence intensified throughout the day. However, it is still unclear what is missing from the policeman’s apartment.
The police are working on all possible versions. A connection between last night’s two crimes has yet to be proven.
According to NOVA, some of the members of the criminal contingent have been detained in Sandanski. It remains to be seen if they are involved in tonight’s crimes.
