The coach of European club champion Bayern Munich – Hansi Flick, congratulated Liverpool for attracting Thiago Alcántara.
The big transfer is a matter of hours after the two clubs shook hands with the 29-year-old Spanish international, who expressed his desire to move to Anfield.
“Tiago is an exceptional player. He was very important to us. My team and I were happy to work with him. We said goodbye excited. I can only congratulate Liverpool because they have a great player and a wonderful man,” said Flick.
Recall that at the end of last season, Thiago informed Bayern of his decision to leave one year before the end of the contract. He is a graduate of Barcelona, whose colors he defended between 2009 and 2013, after which he passed to German hegemony.
