Twenty protesters blocked Dondukov Blvd. right in front of the parliament entrance, where mothers of “System Kills Us” children with disabilities barricaded themselves.
An old woman became ill and waited for an ambulance lying in Dondukov’s lane. After a quick inspection, she stood up and headed for the sidewalk.
Among the protesters was Georgi Sofkin, and BSP deputy Ivan Chenchev spoke with those gathered outside the party house.
In the place in front of the entrance there are about twenty policemen who have blocked the sidewalk with adhesive tape and do not allow anyone to enter the building.
The mothers of children with disabilities from the “Sistema Nos Mata” are in the foyer of the party house, where the deputies pass and refuse to go out. From the building you can hear them shouting: “Quit!”
Arman Babikyan came among the protesters.
“Come and support the protesters and the Mothers, who are locked in the parliament building in front of the office entrance on Dondukov Blvd.!” Called the “Poison Trio” on Facebook.
An hour after the protesters gathered and blocked Dondukov, people continued to pour into the boulevard. At 5:20 pm it was 50, and Velislav Minekov from the “Poison Trio” entered the scene, as did Father Dionisio. Two large loudspeakers were installed on the sidewalk in front of the party house, from where the protest organizers will deliver their traditional speeches tonight.
Traffic remains blocked on the section of Veslets Street to the Cabinet.
The head of the budget committee, Menda Stoyanova, drove her official car through the garages of the party house and passed within meters of the protesters. This provoked strong reactions and shouts: “Quit!” A small group of protesters approached the garage door.
