Investigative actions continue at the NOVE INTERNAL EOOD building at 43 Moskovska Street, the state prosecutor’s office announced.
In the course of searches carried out in August 2020, 234 new items bearing the movable cultural values marks were seized in various rooms of the office. During the investigative actions carried out in the period from September 9 to 14, 2020, 82 new valuable items were seized, including rhytons of high cultural and historical value.
Thus, the total number of artifacts seized reached 6,566, with those registered by the defendant VB under the Cultural Heritage Law, a total of 212.
Investigative actions related to the seizure of the items described will be carried out in strict compliance with procedural norms, as well as international practices established for the packaging, transport and storage of artifacts, in order to preserve as much as possible their authenticity.
We provide video and photographic material of the actions carried out in the investigation in a room in the building on Moskovska 43 in the capital, which are carried out under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor’s Office.
