The Tottenham team have booked one of the largest and most luxurious hotels in Plovdiv for their stay prior to the Lokomotiv visit. The Spurs delegation is made up of 60 people, but Londoners have booked all 190 rooms at the Imperial Hotel under the hills, which is one kilometer from Lokomotiv Stadium.
Thus, Tottenham will ensure against the presence of outsiders in the hotel during the short stay in Plovdiv. One of the main reasons for these measures is the risk of spreading COVID-19. It is unclear whether the English will leave their rooms before the Lokomotiv game.
Each member of the delegation will stay separately, and an even more special apartment has been planned for José Mourinho. Tottenham arrives with a whole team in charge of various things at the club. This includes chefs and special food from England. The main requirements are related to organic food and fruits.
One of Tottenham’s requirements is that outsiders are not allowed near the hotel, which means that there will be no access to the hotel courtyard.
It is not yet clear whether the president of the “spurs” Daniel Levy will arrive in Bulgaria, but this should be clear tomorrow.
