300 volunteers were vaccinated during the trials following the registration of Russia’s COVID-19 vaccine, called Sputnik V, and only about 14 percent reported fatigue, muscle aches or fever, RIA Novosti said, citing the Russian. Minister of Health Mihail Murashko.

The second possible Russian vaccine produced no side effects in the trials.

“More than 300 people have been vaccinated. About 14 percent have mild complaints of fatigue or mild muscle aches during the day, sometimes with a high fever,” Murashko told reporters.

These minor complications were predictable, “the manual said,” the minister said.
