On the 68th night of anti-government protests in the capital, citizens met in the space between the Council of Ministers and the Presidency.
The protesters’ demands remain the same: the resignation of the government and the attorney general.
The protest was peaceful and without provocation.
The protesters gathered at 7 pm in the Plaza de la Independencia area. An hour later, traffic was blocked in front of the BNB by the truck with the “Poison Trio” sound equipment.
Tonight, too, television interviews with ministers and deputies, as well as with Prime Minister Borissov, were broadcast on the facade of the National Assembly, BNT notes.
The organizers again recalled that there will be a third “Great Popular Uprising” on September 22, and the protest is already seen, in their words, as eternal fire, notes BTA.
At 9:30 pm, the dissidents marched towards the Eagle Bridge.
Dissatisfied with the positions of President Rumen Radev, they met tonight in the towers of the National Palace of Culture. They are assembling a petition for the impeachment of the president.
According to them, the head of state is the divisor of the nation. They also spoke out against the protests organized by the “Poison Trio”. So far around 700 signatures have been collected.
The protest ended with a procession to Sveta Nedelya Square.
