60% of GERB go to Tsvetanov

A massive relocation of Tsvetan Tsvetanov’s Bulgarian Republican party coat of arms is currently underway. In Vidin, Blagoevgrad, Ruse, Pleven, Razgrad, Shumen, Targovishte, Burgas, Varna, Kardzhali, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Stara Zagora and others. many members and supporters of the GERB attend demonstrations organized by the former deputy in Boyko Borissov’s party.

According to a poll that has not been released, if there are early elections, Tsvetanov’s party will receive about 600,000 votes. He himself predicted the support of 500,000 voters in early August.

Borisov fired Tsvetanov for Apartmentgate. However, it does not say anything about the photos with the million euro drawer and gold bars, with which you can buy 3-4 houses like Tsvetanov’s. This is hypocrisy, given that the relevant institutions have ruled that the Tsvetanov deal is legal. I have helped GERB a lot, but for almost two years I have watched this party die because of the leader and his dubious connections to Delyan Peevski and Ahmed Dogan. This is what a businessman from Burgas told Frog News.

GERB also conducted a study for internal use. The data on the departure of the party and the doubts in its leadership were also catastrophic. Many members say that the leaders have distanced themselves from reality and are only interested in the regions during the elections.

The former GERB regional youth coordinator in Ruse was arrested and beaten by the police during the protests on 2 September in Sofia. On this occasion, Tsvetkov wrote: “It is difficult for me to publish this publicly, sorry. Because there are still many people among you who I respect and who I know really believe in this cause. But I think it is important to know what happened to me and many others on September 2 and 3 and to draw your own conclusions if you want to support that. Until recently, I personally expected something to change and kept my membership in the party. But after what I saw with my own eyes, my decision is already made.

GERB has decided to keep opinion polls among members and supporters secret, so as not to demobilize other Borissov loyalists. An urgent campaign is underway across the country to strengthen structures. However, it turns out that the members of the leadership do not know the people of the province, who are used to communicating mainly with Tsvetanov.

The Kardzhali case is very interesting. The members of the local organization, who until recently were proud that their representative, Tsveta Karayancheva, was president of the National Assembly, are now at the other pole as a state of mind. “She and the institution she runs were ridiculed in an ugly way by the party chairman, Boyko Borissov. Neither he apologized, nor did she apologize. This is a manifestation of low morale and a lack of dignity and honor. We are ashamed.” The words are from an active party member, who has so far worked diligently for the “cause”, as he put it before us. It all turned out to be a scam. The woman added that since Karayancheva left for Sofia, she has started behaving like a teacher with the members of her group in Kardzhali; he paraded with the extras of power, behaved arrogantly, which terribly irritated the people of Kardzhali. GERB can expect a lot of nasty surprises in this region, the former activists in front of our site are categorical.

The situation is similar in Plovdiv, where Mayor Zdravko Dimitrov-Ziko has little public trust. The previous mayor, Ivan Totev, who has great influence in the City Council, was one of the mayors who hated Borisov. The Prime Minister did not hide his negative attitude towards Totev, which could lead the latter towards Tsvetanov. Then Borisov lost the second city of Bulgaria.

It is strange why sociological agencies in their research in recent months do not give any results on the presence of Tsvetan Tsvetanov and his party in the next, early or regular vote. There is information about Slavi Trifonov’s party, Maya Manolova’s association and others, but no information about Tsvetanov.

Tsvetanov acts like a Pernik miner: he undermines the GERB galleries. I know him well, I am not a supporter of him or his new party, but he has the talent of an organizer. He knows all the people in his party so far, has worked with them and they certainly trust him. There must be something to be thankful for. So Borissov will take a heavy blow from Tsvetanov, former MP and politician Metodi Andreev, known for his right-wing understandings, commented to Frog News. According to him, Cornelia Ninova’s victory in the internal elections as president of the BSP is also a sign that Borissov and the ruling party will face strong opposition. Borissov and his group will take a hard hit from the MRF when Dogan and Peevski no longer need them. This is your “patent,” so it takes a back seat and pushes someone else to focus. In this case it is Borisov, Andreev is categorical.

Those close to Tsvetanov believe that he felt hurt and humiliated by the way he parted ways with GERB and Borisov and will do everything possible to show that without him GERB is doomed. Some call it revenge. And it is revenge, in addition to being veiled with politically correct phrases.

The bad news for Borissov and GERB is that, apart from Tsvetanov and Ninova, the line of opponents is already a long queue and there are thousands of seats in front, disgusted by the immoral pro-mafia model of government. This always means a bad ending.
