Demonstrators demanding the resignation of Borisov 3’s cabinet and Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev last night again blocked the Eagle Bridge in the capital for about 2 hours, Bulgarian National Radio reported.
At 11 pm the movement was announced after a brief conversation between those present and the police.
Earlier, an ambulance, probably called by the protesters, assisted a woman in a visible pregnancy at the bus stop. The woman then left the area.
The anti-government demonstration in the Plaza de la Independencia went smoothly. Political speeches were once again projected on the wall of the presidency.
The organizers of the anti-government protests of the so-called “poisonous trio” announced that they had chosen September 22, the Bulgarian Independence Day, as the third part of the so-called “Great Uprising of the People”.
Adv. Ivan Hadjigenov announced why this date was chosen: “For us, Borisov is not just a dictator, not just an evil. Borisov is the past, he is already the past. That is why on September 22 he will hear the five priorities that we believe are necessary for Bulgaria’s exit from this sewer, into which the Borisov government dragged us ”.
Arman Babikyan added that negotiations with Borissov will not take place.
“Maybe he realized that the squares of Bulgaria are not the mafia, but the citizens! We must give a precise and clear answer: there will be no negotiations with Boyko Borissov. He is asked to resign and then schedule the parliamentarian We believe this it is the legitimate way to resolve the crisis in Bulgaria. Then there will be no negotiations, but talks with the Bulgarian people. “
The public relations expert also requested an explanation for an annex to the contract with Gazprom for the so-called “old gas pipeline” that passes through Moldova and Ukraine:
“I don’t know why there is an addendum and this contract has been quietly adjusted, the previous contract, and we have refused to receive 90 percent of the fee, that is, about $ 150 million a year.”
Professor Velislav Minekov asked Borissov what his attitude was towards Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev:
“We are still waiting for an answer to the questions we asked why he is the only chief prosecutor residing in the rooms of the Boyana residence – House №5”.
Minekov demanded an explanation from the prime minister and how many civilians were injured, in his words, in the “bloody second of September” – the first supposed “Rise of the great people”.
