Cornelia Ninova won a second term at the head of the BSP with 81.5%. In the first direct internal election for leader, 43,228 of the Socialists voted for her. 14.9% of the Reds voted for Kiril Dobrev: 7,914 people. Krassimir Yankov received the support of 1118 Reds, which is 2.1%. 759 people or 1.4% voted for Valeri Zhablyanov.
