The storks and swallows are gone, but summer is still here. Weekends will be warm and afternoons hot. On Saturday, temperatures in the hottest part of the day will be between 27 and 32 degrees. It is still cooler in the Sofia region and the Black Sea coast. In the afternoon there will be a warm wind with stronger gusts in the southeast of Bulgaria.
The sea will be rough for the next 3-4 days with wave heights on the beaches open to the northeast up to 2 meters. In the mountains the climate will be conducive to walks without unpleasant surprises. Temperatures will be between 15 and 22 degrees, depending on the altitude.
A little more clouds will appear on Sunday, but the sun will prevail again. The most significant clouds with a low probability of precipitation appear only in the most southeastern regions. Temperatures will be similar to Saturday.

At the beginning of the new week, the late summer schedule will continue to dominate the entire country. The new school year will begin with high temperatures, but also with strong gusts of wind, which will be felt in almost the entire country, especially in the southeast. The first fall breeze with the highest chance of precipitation will mainly hit the western half of the country at the end of the work week. Then a cold atmospheric front will pass.
The risk of forest and field fires remains high in most of the country. Districts in southeastern Bulgaria are the most vulnerable. High temperatures and stronger wind gusts create preconditions for difficult control of potential fire elements.
