Among the protesters, 10 percent have been paid. The rates in Sofia are: “BGN 30 for an extra ordinary; BGN 50 – for an extra with a sign; for children who jump on the police – BGN 100; for those who fight with the police – BGN 300; for a tartar from a group of 10 people – 500 leva “.
This was stated to BTA in Ruse by the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Krassimir Karakachanov. However, he did not answer the question of who pays the paid protesters.
The deputy prime minister also said the cabinet had no plans to resign. In his words, “stones and wood, as the poet said,” cannot solve the problems in Bulgaria. According to Karakachanov, dialogue is needed. He also agreed to early elections, “if we get along.”
According to him, it is time to decide what the state’s priorities will be and follow them in every year.
According to him, there is also an option for an expert cabinet, but if you sit at a round table and specify the main things in the management program.
According to Karakachanov, people are tired of the political elite behaving like God’s chosen and that is why they are on the street.
The Minister of Ecology must go to Ruse and apologize
The Deputy Prime Minister also commented to the local media on the statements of Minister Emil Dimitrov on the air problems in Ruse:
“The Minister of Environment and Water must come and apologize to the people of Ruse. Such an arrogant tone is not normal.”
Karakachanov explained that he called the Minister of Ecology today, but did not respond.
Such arrogant tone and such contempt for the people led to protesters in the squares. When there is a similar environmental problem in a city and it is not from yesterday, you cannot speak with contempt. I do not accept that tone, said Karakachanov.
When asked if he would demand the resignation of Emil Dimitrov, he said that the ecology minister must first go to Ruse and apologize, and “from then on I reserve the right.”
