The two associate professors quarreled in absentia on television

“Let him first go into the COVID-19 room, where he will see what the virus is and how people get sick,” Associate Professor Angel Kunchev told Associate Professor Atanas Mangarov on BTV this morning.

His words were a reaction to a speech by Associate Prof. Mangarov in front of the camera by Biliana Gavazova, who recorded it earlier. After his repeated insistence, he explained how Kunchev told him to shut his mouth.

Kunchev told me to shut my mouth. He called me in the middle of the night, was traveling by car and told me that he was the only one protecting me and that it was better if I kept my mouth shut, Mangarov explained.

Associate Professor Kunchev laughed first in the BTV study, then explained that he would not discuss any more words spoken by Mangarov. He explained that he had spoken with him so as not to question people, since this divided them and they did not know what to do.

At the same time, Associate Professor Kunchev recommended that people, especially the elderly, get vaccinated against influenza. Vaccinations will be free for anyone over 65. The state has currently ordered 180,000 doses of flu vaccine and there will be 160,000 doses for the free market.

According to Adjunct Professor Kunchev, they are unlikely to arrive, but there was a shortage of flu vaccines across Europe.

His opinion is that children will feel more comfortable if they go to school with a helmet instead of a mask. According to him, parents of children with suspected coronavirus will not be quarantined, only examined. When the tests are in doubt in an organized team – nursery, garden, the state will bear its price.

Currently, Bulgaria ranks 19th in morbidity out of 31 countries in Europe. In Spain, however, the incidence is 12 times higher.
The mortality data is more worrying, as Bulgaria ranks second in Europe in mortality, but second to last in the Balkans.
