Real Madrid is finally willing to sell Gareth Bale for nothing, in an attempt to reduce the “salary” at the club, which weighs heavily on the difficult economic situation of the coronavirus pandemic.
Bale is ready to leave the Sanyago Bernabéu right now, and Mundo Deportivo announces that Real is willing to accept a greatly reduced price of around 25 million euros for him.
The 31-year-old Welshman recently admitted that the “kings” are preventing him from leaving the club. However, things have obviously changed and there is talk again of a possible transfer to Manchester United and a possible return to Tottenham.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Zinedine Zidane is inflexible in his decision and still does not want Bale in his team, but the Real bosses are willing to let him go only for a transfer fee, and not to cancel his contract by mutual agreement.
Zidane and Bale are expected to meet in person next week to discuss the Welshman’s future at the club. Earlier this week, Real got rid of another Zidane trash by selling Hames Rodríguez to Everton. According to most sources, the transfer was worth around £ 20 million, while the BBC estimates it at just £ 12 million.
